Christopher Doré Algonquin College

Entrepreneur, minimalist and educator, who focuses on contributing to the lives of others through his passion for technology, education and social capital. Chris has 20+ years of private sector experience in various key business roles, including investor relations, business development, public relations and finance. Prior to his move to Ottawa, to be closer to family and friends, Chris gained extensive international and financial experience in various high profile roles in South Korea and Calgary. During which he worked for Kia Motors, LG Philips LCD and TD Securities. He has volunteered actively with various organizations throughout his life. Chris is a past Board member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce of South Korea and the Alberta branch of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute. Chris also founded the Yonsei Severance Annual Marathon, one of South Korea’s most successful charity events. Chris is a past Director of Volunteer Ottawa and actively made presentations on behalf of Volunteer Ottawa.
