David Hole Ottawa Neighbourhood Study

David has a Masters in Social Work from Carleton University and degrees in politics and sociology from Southampton University (UK). For over 40 years, David has been involved in the health and social services sectors and has played leadership roles on a number of boards, task forces and committees that have operated at federal, provincial regional, and local community levels. He has managed and delivered a comprehensive range of services and programs that respond to the strengths and challenges of priority populations in communities with high service needs: primary health care, community mental health, midwifery, employment support, community & home support, settlement services, family & individual counselling, early childhood development, community economic development, community legal services, immigrant and settlement services, and housing. David is now providing consulting services, primarily to the non-profit sector and to university research teams (as a knowledge broker and project coordinator for the Ottawa Neighbourhood Study at the University of Ottawa).
