Impact Investment Associate, Rebecca Waterhouse, MPNL – Becca is the newest welcome addition to the CAIF team, having recently joined us in the fall of 2018. Becca is mandated to ensure the strategic success of CAIC & CAIF’s next phase of mission evolution, the Community Lifelines of Credit program. Becca has been analyzing a wealth of data on social entrepreneurship and community wealth strategies in the Canadian context for the past five years. This focus has allowed Rebecca to work both at the front-line and as a consultant with a handful of nonprofit organizations in the identification of potential earned-income opportunities and in translating those ideas into impact aligned, business cases for success. Rebecca holds a degree in Business Administration and International Development Studies from St. Francis Xavier University(Antigonish, NS), a certificate in Skills for Social Change from the Coady International Institute (Antigonish, NS) and a Masters, Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Carleton University (Ottawa,ON). Currently, Becca is pursuing her Sustainable Investment Professional Certification (Concordia, QC).
